Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026

EMBER ("EMBER," "we," "us," or "our") operates a pre-launch waitlist for a recovery-formula protein powder. This policy explains what information we collect when you join the waitlist or otherwise interact with this site, why we collect it, and the choices and rights you have over it.

By using this site or submitting the waitlist form, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you don't agree, please don't submit the form.

1. Who We Are

EMBER is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to us using the details in Section 11 (Contact Us) below.

2. Information We Collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

  • Contact details — your first name and email address.
  • Training profile — your answers to our short qualifying quiz (how you train, how often, what slows your recovery down, and any prior experience with recovery supplements). These answers are optional past the multiple-choice steps and help us shape the product before launch.
  • Usage & device data — collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies when you browse the site (see Section 4).

We don't ask for or knowingly collect payment information, government ID numbers, or health/medical records through this waitlist. If you choose to describe a health condition in the optional free-text quiz field, treat that as voluntary and be mindful of what you share — we don't request it and don't use quiz answers to make health determinations about you.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To send the waitlist welcome sequence and occasional pre-launch updates (a fixed set of emails over your first few weeks on the list, plus periodic launch news).
  • To tag your record by training style, frequency, and primary recovery pain point, so future messaging is more relevant to how you actually train.
  • To inform product development — quiz answers are reviewed in aggregate to help finalize EMBER's formula, flavor, and format before launch.
  • To measure how visitors move through this site and whether our ads led to a signup, using the tracking described in Section 4.
  • To respond if you contact us directly.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

This site uses cookies and a third-party conversion-tracking script to understand which visits turn into waitlist signups and to measure ad performance. This helps us spend our (limited, pre-launch) marketing budget on what's actually working, rather than guessing. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; doing so may not stop all tracking, but it will disable non-essential cookies that aren't required for the site to function.

5. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers that make this waitlist work, under agreements that limit what they can do with it:

  • Our CRM/marketing automation platform, which stores your contact details and sends the email sequence.
  • Our conversion-tracking provider, which receives anonymized/pseudonymous signup-event data for ad measurement.
  • Professional advisors (e.g. legal, accounting) where necessary, and any party legally entitled to it (e.g. in response to a valid legal request).

We do not share your information with data brokers or with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

We keep waitlist data for as long as your subscription is active, plus a reasonable period afterward to honor unsubscribe requests, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain accurate business records. You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see Section 7.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (every email we send includes an unsubscribe link). Visitors in the UK/EU have these rights under GDPR / UK GDPR; California residents have similar rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — which, per Section 5 above, we do not do.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. Data Security

We rely on reputable, security-vetted providers to store and process waitlist data and use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product and its data practices evolve between now and launch. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above; check back periodically.
